New and highly anticipated from Scarpa for 2020/2021 is the F1 LT. Taking inspiration from the Alien RS and the F1, Scarpa has taken the best of both worlds and created a unique backcountry skiing boot. The F1 LT can be your everyday touring boot, your steep and deep companion or your go-to for long ski traverses. Even the occasional lap on skimo skis (aka misery sticks) will convince you of its category-breaking performance.

You might recognize the F1 LT's lower boot from the defunct Alien RS, Scarpa's previous go at blurring the line in between race and touring categories. The carbon infused Grilamid® LFT shell combined with the 3D Lambda Torsion frame gives the F1 LT incredible power to weight ratio. The Boa® fit system over the instep offers a precise and secure fit, while the water proof gaiter will keep your feet dry on long bootpacks and wet snow. Inspired by the its bigger brother the F1, the cuff of the LT relies on a simple, durable and powerful buckle and velcro strap system.

With a 72 degree walk mode and a mere 990 grams (claimed) on the scale, this boot will let you skin up to the top of your next descent with the feel of wearing running shoes. Once fastened though, you won't be let down by one of the stiffest lightweight backcountry boots out there!
